Minnesota Immigrant Rights Action Committee (MIRAC) will run a Know Your Rights and Rapid Response training at The Loft at 5pm June 8th. A meal will be provided after the hour long training consisting of homemade vegetarian chili. Please consider attending regardless of immigration status – this is a great opportunity for community members to learn about their legal rights, understand how to respond during immigration enforcement situations, and connect with local resources and support networks. The training will cover practical information about interactions with immigration officials, emergency planning, and available legal aid services. All are welcome to participate in this free educational event that strengthens our community’s knowledge and preparedness. This event will be hosted by Anna Martin-Boyle who may be reached at (408) 677-9951 or mart5877@umn.edu with any questions or concerns.
