The ongoing taekwondo classes meet on Tuesdays beginning at 6:30PM, according to the level you have attained in class. If you would like to join this free program, you make pick up an application in the CSCC office.
We're bringing our playground indoors! The children have room to play, while the adults have time to chat, have a cup of tea or hot cocoa, and maybe a craft.
6:00 pm - Children's Theater ClassA new children's theater class will be offered this winter by CSCC resident, Nelly Pilares. This is a hands-on workshop based on theater techniques that will encourage students to use their imagination. The class is designed for 4 - 6 years olds, and will meet for ten weeks. CSCC children and adults are invited to decorate their own Valentine cookies in the Loft. Stacy will have plain, heart-shaped cookies that residents can decorate them with frosting and all kinds of goodies on top!
6:00 pm - Conciliation CommitteeThe Conciliation committee will be listening to cases in the north room of the Loft. This is a closed meeting, only members of the committee may attend.
7:00 pm - Beginner's Acrylic PaintingShilpa Rege will be leading this painting workshop in the Loft, the first three weeks in February. This acrylic painting class is for adults only. All materials will be supplied, but if you have an easel, that would be ideal, and recommended. For more information, or to sign-up, please contact Marcie in the CSCC office.
Come learn this Korean martial arts class taught by CSCC resident, Kwon Hong. Students are required to purchase their own uniform, but tuition is free. Class meets each Tuesday evening in the Loft, 6:30 - 9:00PM according to skill level, and on Saturday mornings, 10:00AM-12:00noon. For an application, please pick one up at the CSCC office
